KP Illest, aka Nikanora Kamaaizemi Hoveka Kapapsi, is a Namibian hip hop artist born in Kenya on December 26, 1993. After winning the Sprite Urban Competition in 2011, he shared the stage with major artists globally. KP Illest's discography includes three volumes of "Kill Your Television" mixtape, an album titled "Price of Ambition," and more. His hits include "Way Too Much," "Highway," and "Straight Up." KP Illest has collaborated with artists across Africa, including South Africa's Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest, and Nigeria's Ice Prince. In addition to his music, he's dedicated to working with different organizations to eradicate gender-based violence. KP Illest has won several awards and was nominated for five awards at the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA) in 2020.
