Hiro Le Coq
Bio
Hiro is a French singer and composer of Congolese descent. Born Dimitri Nganda on 14 July 1991 in Melun, France, he grew up in the Paris suburbs and developed an early interest in music, influenced by both French urban sounds and Congolese artists such as Papa Wemba and Koffi Olomidé.
He began his career in 2007 as a member of the group Bana C4, before launching a solo career that brought him wider recognition in the French music scene during the mid 2010s. His debut studio album De la haine à l’amour, released in 2017, marked a turning point in his career and featured collaborations with several well known artists.
Hiro’s music blends R&B, hip hop, rap and Afro pop, reflecting his multicultural background and contemporary influences. He later released projects such as Erratum, further establishing his versatility and emotional songwriting.
In addition to his work as a performer, Hiro founded his own label, Millésime Musik, allowing him greater creative independence. He is also involved in social initiatives focused on education and poverty reduction in Africa.
