Vickash Beni Kat

Ushindi Vickash Beni Katulanya is a Congolese born singer, songwriter and choreographer. He was born on 16 October 1999 in Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. During his childhood he lived in Uganda before relocating with his family to Norway, where he is currently based.

Known professionally as Vickash Beni Kat, he blends Afropop, R&B and Congolese musical influences in his work. He began releasing music in the early 2020s and has steadily built recognition for his melodic style and cross cultural sound. His extended play Am Different, released in 2025, further established him as an emerging artist.

In addition to music, Katulanya is an accomplished choreographer and dance instructor. Dance plays a central role in his creative identity, shaping both his performances and visual expression. His career reflects a fusion of contemporary global sounds with his African heritage, and he continues to develop his presence in music and dance.
