Hlengiwe Ntombela (HLE)

She is a South African gospel singer and songwriter who was born on the 12th of April 1991.

She is a former member of Joyous Celebration gospel choir who currently performs as a solo artist. She is better known as HLE. 

She started her career as a backing vocalist for Ntokozo Mbambo. She was asked to lead a song in 2012 with the Joyous Celebration gospel choir where she joined the choir afterwards. 

In 2019 she recorded her album she titled; "Your kingdom on earth", she was also featured on Benjamin Dube's album entitled; " Glory in His presence".

In 2020 she released a solo single; "Dwala" which got to be the number one on iTunes charts.

She launched a project; "The How Project" which focus around the heart of a worshipper. She also released another single called; "You are".

On July her weekly show titled; "Adlib" premiered on Dstv, Channel 331 and One gospel whereby she hosted South African gospel musicians.

In 2021 she was nominated for best female Artist of the year. 

In 2022 she signed a record deal with Motown Gospel. 

She boldly proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ through song.
