Bio

Solomon Plate (real name Solomon Moyo) is a Christian/gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist from Lusaka, Zambia. He was born on November 2, 1996, and grew up in a musically supportive family, which helped shape his early interest in music.

Plate began making music at a young age and gained early experience performing, producing, and writing songs. Over time, he developed a distinct Afro-fusion Christian sound that blends contemporary and traditional musical elements with uplifting, faith-centered messages.

He made his mark with projects such as his debut album “Munthu” (2019) and later the 14-track album “Over & Over” (2024). His music includes popular tracks like “Way You Are,” “Donki,” “Nge Mpaanga,” and “Cibe Cibe,” which resonate with listeners for their inspirational themes and energetic style. As a multi-talented artist, Solomon Plate also works behind the scenes as a music producer, contributing to other artists’ records and soundtracks, while continuing to grow his own career.
