Moses Bliss
Bio
Moses Uyoh Enang (born 20 February 1995), professionally known as Moses Bliss, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, worship leader and record label founder whose music has become a central voice in contemporary African Christian worship. Blending heartfelt devotion with modern soundscapes, Bliss has helped shape a new wave of gospel expression grounded in faith, gratitude and everyday testimony.
Born in Abuja and originally from Akwa Ibom State, Bliss showed an early fascination with music. By the age of five he was already experimenting with instruments such as drums, piano and guitar, later joining the choir at Believers’ Loveworld church where he began developing as a worship leader. This grounding in church worship continues to shape his musical identity.
He formally launched his recording career in 2017 with the single “E No Dey Fall My Hand”. His breakthrough arrived two years later with “Too Faithful”, a deeply devotional song that travelled far beyond Nigeria, becoming a staple in churches and Christian gatherings across Africa and the diaspora. This success led to further releases including “Bigger Everyday” in 2020 and the 13-track debut album Too Faithful in 2021.
In 2023, he followed with More Than Music (Transcendent Worship) — another 13-track body of work that expanded his global reach. That same year he officially launched Spotlite Nation, a record label dedicated to nurturing gospel musicians, signing rising artists such as Chizie, Festizie, Grace Lokwa and Doris Joseph. Bliss has also partnered with Symphonic Distribution in the United States, reflecting his growing international footprint.
Beyond the studio, Bliss is known for his uplifting stage presence and community-centred ministry. His annual concert, Bliss Experience, gathers worshippers in large numbers to celebrate faith through music. His work has earned recognition such as the Loveworld International Music and Arts Award (2020) for “You I Live For.”
While contemporary in style — often weaving elements of Afrobeat, highlife and modern gospel pop — his songs remain rooted in worship, gratitude and reliance on God. He speaks openly about faith as both calling and responsibility, using his platform to encourage hope, generosity and spiritual renewal. He is also active in outreach and charity initiatives.
In 2024, Bliss married Marie Wiseborn, marking a new chapter in his personal life alongside his evolving ministry.
For many listeners across Africa and beyond, Moses Bliss represents a new generation of gospel leadership: musically creative, spiritually grounded and committed to service.
