Wildside Scotty is a dynamic and rising star in the South African music scene, hailing from the vibrant city of Johannesburg. Known for his unique ability to blend hip-hop with Afro-pop and the rhythmic pulse of Mzonkonko influences, Wildside Scotty brings a fresh yet authentically local sound to the table.
In the past year, he made a splash with his EP G.A.S. (Guilty As Sin), which quickly turned heads both locally and beyond. This project featured standout tracks like “Come Duze,” a powerful collaboration with Saudi, and “Madonna,” featuring Sastii from the Qwellers. These songs not only resonated with fans but also found their way onto national music stations and TV channels, giving Wildside Scotty significant mainstream exposure.
Another highlight is his single “My Darli,” a collaborative track that brought together Bergie Fresh, Sastii, and DaHoodHope, showcasing Scotty’s knack for assembling a diverse lineup of talent. Each of these tracks gained traction and became favorites on the airwaves, further cementing his reputation.
Building on that momentum, Wildside Scotty has recently released a new EP titled III (3). This latest project features three new songs, including a track with Bergie Fresh and another with Saynt, who is well-known for his videography work for the celebrated group Blaq Diamond further expanding his audience.
