Vicoka

Vicoka is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and rapper recognised for his emotive storytelling and authentic sound rooted in Afropop and Afrobeat. Born and raised in Port Harcourt, he grew up in a modest family and turned to music as a creative outlet influenced by local culture and Nigerian musical greats. He began recording professionally in 2019 and built his craft through a series of singles exploring themes of love, resilience, and street life. His breakthrough came in 2024 with “Port Harcourt,” a deeply personal track reflecting on his upbringing, family struggles, and the influence of his hometown. The song received widespread attention and led to a remix featuring Ajebo Hustlers, expanding his audience. Vicoka’s style blends heartfelt lyricism with vibrant rhythms, making him one of Nigeria’s promising emerging voices. He continues to release music and prepare his debut EP into 2025.
