Artwork Sounds is a powerhouse South African duo made up of George Lesley and Soultronixx, two musicians whose journeys and talents merge seamlessly into a signature soulful house sound. George Lesley Theko, born in Sebokeng in the Vaal, is a seasoned bass guitarist, DJ, and producer. His musical foundation began in church, where he honed his keyboard skills and developed his craft. Today, he is the full‑time bass player for Mafikizolo and has performed as a session musician for major artists including Vusi Nova, Nathi Mankayi and Donald.
Rofhiwa “Soultronixx” Ndou, originally from Dzanani in Venda, is a producer and DJ with a global footprint. He has collaborated with internationally respected names such as N’Dinga Gaba, Maurice Eclectic, Doug Gomez, and DJ Pope, many of whom have also worked with George. Soultronixx discovered his passion for music during his teenage years in Johannesburg, where he later crossed paths with George. The two connected creatively and committed to building their sound together full‑time.
Artwork Sounds has become a dominant force in the soulful house scene, earning multiple No. 1 spots on Traxsource with hits like Love Is Real (feat. Dearson), You Give Me Love, and Time Is Now. Their highly anticipated debut album, Nothing Better, features collaborations with top South African producers and DJs including Oscar Mbo and June Jazzin. The album held the No. 1 position on digital platforms for weeks, solidifying their place as one of the most exciting duos in the genre.
