Lutho Kondlo also known as VICEQUIAT. Is a self taught artist, Musician & filmmaker living in Johannesburg. Originally from Cape Town, Lutho is born to parents, (father) Kwandiwe Kondlo a Research Professor at WITS University & (Mother) Thembela Mabandla a real estate agent in Cape Town. Lutho is the 1st born of four children, he discovered his love for Performance & Visual arts at the tender age of 9. Lutho’s music & art style is very playful, childlike,colourful and yet thought provoking, vulnerable and very lucid in its nature, with elements of soulful, sinister, psychedelic & melancholy undertones. Inspirations Lutho grabs from are artists like Jean Micheal Basquiat, George Condo, Kanye West, Earl sweatshirt, d’angelo just to name a few in his expansive range of icons he grabs his references and ideologies from to create his artistic work.
