Virgin Music Group (VMG) is a global music distributor of independent record labels founded on 13 September 2022, and owned by Universal Music Group. The VMG main headquarters are based in Beverley Hills, California, USA but they have a wide network of offices across the world. Their parent company UMG is primarily based in London, UK. 

The Virgin Group was founded by billionaire Sir Richard Branson in 1972. The current Virgin Music Group is led by co-CEOs JT Myers and Nat Pastor. They reportedly employ over 500 people across six continents. Their network of offices include countries such as Australia, Brazil, Japan, Spain, South Africa and many more. 

Their mission is to be a leading global partner for independent music companies and artists by providing a global infrastructure, local expertise, and flexible, technologically advanced solutions to help them succeed. They provide a range of products and services for independent artists and labels, such as marketing, distribution, and artists management.
