“‘Mbali’ is the song you play to live your life – after a long day’s job, when you’re starting your morning or when it’s time to party the African way,” Alade said. “It’s about choosing joy, claiming your space and protecting your mental peace.”
The single follows her earlier 2025 release ‘My Padi’ and continues to build anticipation for her next album, currently in production. According to Alade, the song is aimed at encouraging listeners to unwind, recharge, and embrace a positive outlook.
Alade has performed on stages ranging from the Africa Cup of Nations opening ceremony to events hosted by the United Nations, Global Citizen, and the British Royal Family. She is widely regarded as one of Africa’s leading contemporary artists, known for blending socially conscious messages with music that appeals to audiences across cultures.
