KG Moepyë

KG MOEPYË, born Kgomotso Nosipho Moepye is a South African jazz vocalist from Tsakane, Gauteng, whose music blends emotional depth with strong narrative presence. A graduate of the Music Academy of Gauteng, she released her debut single, MANDINGASUKI, in 2024, which earned her a Crown Award nomination and a nomination for Best Jazz Song at the Mzantsi Jazz Awards. In 2025, she performed original compositions from her forthcoming debut album at the National Arts Festival, where the performance received an Ovation Award. Currently working on her debut album, KG is based in the United Arab Emirates, performing internationally while establishing herself as a rising voice in contemporary South African jazz.
