Flabie Loape

Flabie Loape is an African instrumentalist born and bred in Lesotho. Her songs mostly feature  Uhadi and Balafon.Her music is a traditional genre with  a jazzy, meditative feel.

She has made an award nominated theme song for a film called Li eme ka lekoa and six of her songs are also featured in the film. She has made an outro song (spoken word) for Lesotho's bicentennial documentary; Moshoeshoe strategy  and leadership. Moreover Flabie Loape has co-composed The 2026 Commonwealth Games Relay song representing Africa. Lastly, her work has been published into a manuscript: Seho se llile Basotho by University of Freestate.
