Bassline Fest


The Bassline Fest is an annual Urban Music Festival hosted by Bassline Live in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Previously known as the Africa Day Concert, Bassline Fest is a celebration of African vibrancy, dynamism and globalism through music. The three day festival takes place during Africa month and features a diverse mix of artist from the continent and abroad.

The event is part of the IGODA network, a touring circuit that facilitates the movement of artists and supports collaboration, creative expression and the celebration of music and culture.

Previous artists who have performed at the festival include Salif Keita (Mali), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Nathalie Natiembe (Reunion), Ghorwane (Mozambique), Elida Almeida (Cape Verde), Azah (South Africa), the late Ray Phiri (South Africa) and others.
