YEMa

YEMa, also known as Yemariam Chernet, is a talented youngster and performing artist hailing from Ethiopia. YEMa initially made her mark in the world of entertainment through live music, captivating audiences with her soulful renditions and dynamic stage presence.
YEMa’s most recent accomplishment comes in the form of her original debut album, “Yedega Sew,” where she has artfully collaborated with a diverse array of successful musicians, showcasing her versatility and artistry within the world music genre.
In May 2020, YEMa showcased her vocal prowess on the record “Qene new Hager” alongside legendary artists, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career. Her recent work includes “Aye,” a powerful soundtrack featured in the international film “Doka,” released in June 2023, further solidifying her impact on a global scale.

Following the album launch,
she embarked on a three-month tour with the French
international company Phenix, starting on November
23, 2024. During this tour, YEMa showcased her talent in
over 70 performances across 17 cities in France, including
Paris, Lyon, Cannes, Dijon, Poitiers, Saint-Dizier, Cham-
béry, and more. The tour captivated over 350,000 inter-
national audience members, offering them a glimpse
into the extraordinary artistry of Ethiopian music.
