Rand B

Takudzwa Bumhira was born on 31 May in Nyanga District of Manicaland Province, Zimbabwe. A young talented teenager loved playing marimba, mbira, dancing, writing songs and singing . He even liked the music at a very young age of almost 5 when He used to make small drums using brocken pots and other tins. He started his music career at Tombo Primary School 2008 when He began playing marimba at school assembly and other school and community functions together with other school mates. Amongst them were relatives of him like Snothile Bumhira(His blood sister) and Ngonidzashe Bumhira(His Nephew).

Rand B attended his form one studies at Kute High School in Nyanga. Due to lack of his expected resources, He was transferred to Crossdale High School where He proceeded from form 2 upto an 'A' level. Rand B studied an honors degree in Music Business, Musicology and technology at Midlands State University from 2019 to 2024.
