Culture Connects x Africa Day

To mark Africa Day, The British Council Kenya has organised a series of live panel discussions centred around African film, poetry, storytelling, film, music and other forms of art, featuring creatives from across Eastern and Southern Africa.  

 The panellists will explore in detail the following topics:

• Uncovering Hidden Narratives: Decolonising Art and Amplifying Underrepresented Voices – 12pm EAT

• Shining a Spotlight on African Cinema: Uncovering the Diversity and Creativity of the Continent's Film Industry – 4pm EAT

• Beyond Words: The power of Poetry and Storytelling in Shaping Culture, Identity and Social Change in Africa – 8pm EAT
