ISAH The Prince

Isah ‘The Prince’ Matankari is a rapper, performing artist, creative strategist and community builder from Nigeria.

He has released six studio albums, self-produced numerous concerts and performed at major music showcases.

He is the recipient of the British Council Culture and Creativity Impact Award for his contribution to creativity in Sub-Saharan Africa (2023).

Isah uses his art to elevate the African consciousness by questioning conservative ideas like religion, gender, racial and economic inequality.

He is the co-founder of Creative Culture, an Abuja-based edutainment start-up that produces engaging experiences and media content for Africa’s post-millennial generation. He has been instrumental in growing Abuja's creative industry by building communities, hosting more than 52 events and creating paid opportunities for over 150 young creatives.
