Rwanda: Adrien Misigaro to headline gospel concert
Rwandan gospel singer Adrien Misigaro will headline the Ntacyo Nzaba gospel concert at Kigali Serena Hotel on Sunday 23 July.
Adrien Misigaro is back in Rwanda to perform in Kigali this Sunday.
The gospel musician, who is based in the US but has been in Rwanda for months now, says he is honoured to be back home to sing with fellow Rwandans at a concert of praise and worship.
“God created us to worship him, therefore I would like to have fun with my fans and the worshipers in Rwanda as we praise God in one spirit,” Misigaro said.
This will be Nzaba’s second performance in Kigali this month. On 9 July he was invited to perform at the Beauty for Ashes album launch. Misigaro, who is also a pianist and guitarist, said he did not mind performing for fans from other denominations. All he wanted, he said, was to share the message that God sent for him to deliver to everyone who believes in Him.
Misigaro began his music career in the US and has been living outside Rwanda for the past 17 years. However, his songs are well known in his home country. He has released hits such as ‘Ntacyo Nzaba’, ‘Nkwite Nde’, ‘Twarahuye’ and ‘Mfite Impanvu’. The singer says he has always been overwhelmed by the love Rwandan gospel music lovers have shown him despite the fact that he does not operate from there.
The Ntacyo Nzaba event is being organised by Urugero Media Group, a news and video production house.
