 Biography

AmEE is a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter renowned for his fusion of Afrobeat, Highlife, Jazz, and traditional African rhythms. His music delivers powerful messages through captivating melodies, reflecting a deep connection to African musical heritage.

With a commanding stage presence, AmEE has performed at notable events including World Music Day celebrations (2007–2009), Felabration concerts (2006–2014, 2023–2024), Freedom Park performances (2022–2025), and the Naijazz Festival (2008). In March 2025, he received the Best Live Performance Artist of the Year award at the Famenet Fans Awards.

Leading the Agogo Sound Band,currently renamed the Creativeminds band, AmEE’s ensemble features a rich blend of vocals, saxophones, trumpet, guitars, drums, percussion, keyboard, and talking drum. His single “Fake Life,” featuring Femi Slide, released in November 2022, critiques superficial lifestyles portrayed on social media.

Currently, AmEE is working on his debut album, following a series of experimental singles aimed at refining his unique sound.
