Blue Hats Trio is a South African jazz ensemble comprising Mpho Koopedi (pianist), Bernice Boikanyo (drummer) and Sakhile Nkosi (bassist).
The band was formed in 2009 and has been gracing stages both locally and abroad. Most recent engagement is the bands residency at Nexdor Restaurant in Soweto every Thursday between 6pm and 11pm
