Robert Okpoti Sowah, known as Skannah, is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter recognized for his energetic and versatile vocals. Born on June 11, 2001, in Tema and hailing from Labadi, he discovered his passion for music in primary school. He began studio recordings at 12 and officially debuted in 2020 with Pompoyeya. Skannah gained recognition with hits like Kilode, Santa, Ginger Me, and Wonyaloo featuring Medikal. In 2021, he won Best Male Vocalist at the Emerging Artist Awards. He released his debut EP Lolipa in 2024 and signed with Indigo Music Factory in late 2024. In 2025, he dropped Where You Go Dey and De Story while preparing for a new album. Known for his engaging stage presence, he has performed alongside Shatta Wale, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, and Kelvyn Boy. Skannah continues to make waves in the Ghanaian and African music scenes.
