Amine Dhouibi: A Contemporary Voice in Jazz
A Tunisian contemporary jazz musician, composer, and performance artist whose work blends African, classical, and contemporary influences. His artistic practice explores the relationship between sound, identity, and time, combining music and performance to create immersive and interactive experiences.
Rooted in experimental sound and live performance, his compositions balance structure and improvisation, with a strong focus on listening, texture, and collective presence. His work reflects an ongoing interest in cultural exchange and the evolution of contemporary jazz.
Amine has performed at festivals, collaborated with international artists, and participated in residencies across Europe and the United States. His discography includes The Resurrection and Eternity Volume 1, both of which received critical recognition. In 2025, his single The Resurrection (featuring Hamdi Jamoussi) was nominated for Best Jazz Song. His latest project, Eternity Volume 2, was recorded in January 2026.
