Echo

Born 8 February 1991, Echo (Joshua Suwilanji Chikonde) is Zambian artist based Kabwe. He moved to Kitwe where he had a deep encounter with hip-hop at a camp meeting. Following his intellect and ability to write songs and freestyling on a number of occasions, he faced a number of challenges and decided to give his life to Christ (2010).

He recorded his first gospel mixtape ‘Great I Am’ with a group called RepThree. He has featured and collaborated with a number of artists on a number of singles but has since taken a stand of establishing a solo career. Some of his songs include 'Et Cetera', 'Am In Love With You' and 'Pheli'.

He runs a radio show ‘The Urban Pulpit’ where he features role models in society to share a positive message.
