Bio
Wesley Keet is a seasoned keyboard player and artist signed to STY TRU BEATS, a subsidiary of Defected Records UK, with over 15 years of experience in live performance and music production. A proud graduate of Nelson Mandela University in 2009, Wesley studied under the mentorship of Errol Cuddumbey, specialising in jazz. Since then, he has become a prominent figure in the South African music scene and beyond.
In 2017, Wesley and his band, Vudu, won the prestigious Cape Town Jazz Festival’s Young Legends Competition. This victory allowed them the incredible opportunity to perform alongside international heavyweights such as The Internet, En Vogue, and Gretchen Parlato.
Wesley has an extensive touring history, having performed in Taiwan, Macau, Australia, New Zealand, and various countries across Asia and Australasia. His impressive versatility has led to collaborations with a diverse range of artists, including Lloyiso, Shane Eagle, Belinda Davids (from the stage show The Greatest Love of All), and Lloyd Cele, among others.
In addition to his performance career, Wesley is the founder of Ad Lib Entertainment, a corporate entertainment company with a prestigious clientele, including RMB, Investec, GFI Gallery, and Nelson Mandela University. His company has been a trusted provider of high-quality entertainment for numerous corporate events, festivals, and private occasions.
