Msweetero
Bio
Real name Avuyile Ntwanambi, Msweetero is a South African musician based in Cape Town. His music career kicked off in 2017 when he was still in high school (Grade 10). While in grade 11, Msweetero released his first single 'I Mic My Woman' (2011) feat the late Skappa. He is credited for his thrilling rap, songwriting, visual art and releasing 12 singles in 6 years.
Msweetero later left the mice as he finished high school to pursue his education and career. He joined a casting agency in Cape Town and got introduced to the film industry. The film industry taught and hired him on background characters in commercials, movies and series. He worked as an extra in movies such as 'The Woman King', where action coordinators liked his athletic skills and promoted him to become an action extra in 2022, which lead to his first flight in his life, then he became a stuntman in 2023 on 'King Shaka' series (The production was cancelled but works and payments were made), familiarizing him to known film directors and coordinators like 'Grant Powel' (South African Stunt Coordinator).
He has also made an appearance as a visual artist under 'Open Heart Studio' (Now known as 'Open Heart Gallery' under the co-founder 'Xolani Sivunda') in acrylic painting and sculpting medium. He then left the visual art studio as he realized that art needs lots of funding so he went to look for a job, and a new plan.
In 2024, he finished his 6 months course on 2D Animation principles at 'Toony Animation' under the facilitators, owners, animators and directors 'Garth Sanders' and 'Carmen (Unknown surname)', after the course, he animated his own first Amapiano music video alone, titled ; Msweetero - Nguwe (Ft Zuks De Vocalist), which is available on YouTube and Facebook. In 2025 he made an animated music video for clients Major and Tulz (MTurn Entertainment), track tittled 'MTurn - Betterway (Ft Gunzito, Maraza and EMtee)' also available on YouTube and Facebook.
On the same year (2025), Msweetero released his latest Amapiano and Afropop single, titled 'Msweetero - Wena Chankuraine' , which is currently available on SoundCloud and AudioMack.
