Derek Davey

Derek Davey is a writer, editor and photographer. He has been in the media game for more than three decades.

Davey has written many stories on artists and musicians, mostly in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He is also a percussionist and has played drums and bass for bands for 40 years, in genres including rock, folk, gypsy, punk, maskande, gospel and traditional African music from Zimbabwe and South Africa.
