DJ BlackJean (Gosiame Maodi) is a South African House Music DJ and producer from Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria. A sound engineering graduate, he founded Jeans Records and the live band 60 Hertz Project, known for releases like Capricorn EP and Tapta Beach EP. His music, blending local rhythms with deep house, has appeared on labels such as GOGO Music, DeepTone Recordings, and Deeper Shades of House. With standout projects like Meant For Me EP and Fallen EP, and a win at the DJ Turntables Titans Competition Season 1, BlackJean continues to shape the scene with passion, collaboration, and cultural influence.
