Mr Tex

Tendai Mannix Shaba, better known by his stage name Mr. Tex, is a Malawian rapper, producer and songwriter. His influences are Dr. Dre and Scott Storch. He started rapping and making beats in 2003.

He has produced tracks for local artists such as Theo Thomson and Tigris. As a musician, he has released singles such as ‘Off Texture’ and ‘Go Better’. The singles featured artists like Lomwe, BarryOne, Incyt, A.I, Ca$h and Sonye. He is also working on a collaborative album called 'Texture Vol 1'.
