Bio
Born on 19 October 1987 in Tsumeb, Snazzy (real name Louisa Shilongo) is a Namibian musician who started singing, writing poetry and lyrics when she was a teenager. Her debut single ‘Say My Name’ earned her recognition. In 2003 and 2004 she was nominated in the Best RnB/Hip-Hop Female categories at the Sanlam-NBC Music Awards. In 2005, she was nominated for the Most Promising Africa Artist. In 2008, Snazzy went on sabbatical and returned in January 2015 with a new single, ‘Get Down’.
Besides music, Snazzy is also a model. She featured in the 2004 Winter Fashion Collection of celebrated Southern African fashion house Queenspark. She was also crowned second princess at the 2004 Fanta Miss Teen Namibia beauty pageant.
