Loverdee Plus

Bio

Born in Uganda-Kasese, Ronald Mugisa Twambale a.k.a Loverdee Plus moved to Sweden in 1995. At the age of 17, while in Sweden Loverdee started raping in Swedish with his brother Max Brutal a.k.a Willy Kiima, using the name Rwenzururu Boyz. They started doing music for fun, and performing karaoke at schools like Rinkeby skolan, Bredby skolan, Tensta Gymnasium, Tyresö skolan and at the big summer festival in Stockholm 1998. They then decided to do music, singing in their mother tongue (Lukonzo) and Kiswahili.

Loverdee and Max released an album ‘Thuyowe’ meaning lets enjoy in 2000. The album was mostly sold in western Uganda where people could speak Lukonzo. After a year, the Rwenzururu Boyz was no more. They stopped working together as Max was never into music as Loverdee had been at that time.
Loverdee started working alone and in 2002 he released an album ‘Thuyinywire’, which he launched in Uganda in 2003. The album was entirely in kikonzo.

In 2003 Loverdee moved to London to pursue his dream of becoming a star in Uganda and East Africa. He released a new album from the UK, 'Sarah Wange', and in 2006 he came out with a new album ‘Mamboot life’. Mamboot’ means 'your own life'. Loverdee renamed his crew, Mamboot Life Crew.

In 2007 he returned to Sweden where he is now based and continuing his music career. In 2008 he released Holiday album with 9 solid tracks, collaborating with Firebase crew on some of them together with Phantom Lovins, Renah, Buchaman and Junior Terrible. In 2009 he released 'Amafiga' album with 8 tracks.
