Audu Maikori

Bio

Audu Maikori, a trained lawyer, is a Nigerian former record label boss and entertainment entrepreneur. He founded the record label Chocolate City, which has signed MI, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince among others. Maikori resigned as head of the company in 2015, leaving the company leadership to Jude Abaga (MI).

In the same year he launched Music Week Africa, which is "a pan-African, week-long series of events designed to explore and promote all aspects of the music industry." Audu is a recipient of the International Young Music Entrepreneur of the Year (IYMEY) award.
