Mthiza

Born Themba Esau Ndlovu on 6 July 1999, Mthiza is an emerging artist hailing from Ratanda in Heidelberg, Gauteng his place of birth and upbringing. Growing up in the township, he attended Ratanda Primary School before continuing his studies at Khaya Lesedi Secondary School, where his passion for music began to take shape.

Mthiza’s journey into music officially started in 2018, driven by a deep-rooted love for the craft. For him, music is more than just a passion it is a calling. Coming from a family where both maternal and paternal sides share a strong musical background, his artistic path feels both natural and destined.

Since stepping onto the scene, Mthiza has been steadily building his presence through live performances at various local venues. His performance portfolio includes appearances at Sinos, Khona Lethu Carwash, Germiston Lounge, Thanda Tavern, and Calabash Tavern, where he continues to connect with audiences and refine his sound.

With authenticity at his core and a growing footprint in the local music circuit, Mthiza is carving out his space as a dedicated and promising voice from Ratanda.
