Born in April 1990, Martin King Arthur—professionally known as Kofi Kinaata—is a celebrated Ghanaian musician and songwriter from Takoradi. Revered as the "Fante Rap God," he is renowned for his mastery of Fante rap and his poignant, storytelling lyrics.
Kinaata’s exceptional talent has earned him the Ghana Music Awards Songwriter of the Year title an unprecedented four times. His discography includes massive hits such as "Susuka," "Confession," and the critically acclaimed "Things Fall Apart."
Raised in Effiakuma, Kinaata attended Nana Brempong Yaw School before completing his secondary education at the Takoradi Technical Institute. He first made his mark on the music scene as a formidable battle rapper on Melody FM’s Kasahari programme, laying the foundation for his status as one of Ghana's most influential contemporary artists.
