Originally from Mali, General Bak is part of the new generation of Afro-manding artists who rethink traditional music through a modern approach.

Influenced by major references in African music, he builds an artistic universe based on the fusion between traditional instruments and current sounds.

His DNA is based on a mixture of musical colors: Mandingo rhythms, contemporary energy and narration rooted in social realities. Through his texts in Bambara, he addresses universal themes such as humility, life cycles and human relationships.
