Blac Queen

I am Blac Queen a Ugandan-based multilingual, acoustic, performer, recording artist and songwriter. I create music rooted in love, hope, and harmony, culture and environment conservation. My 100% live sets blend soulful piano, African storytelling, and sing along moments that turn audiences into choirs.

Performing in English, Luganda, Swahili, Teso and some French influences, my mission is simple: help people feel loved, hopeful, stronger, peaceful and encouraged, so they believe in themselves and a better world living in harmony. my sound draws from Ugandan communal music traditions, contemporary soul, folk and gospel-delivered with just voice, piano and adungu for raw, intimate connection.

A women-led act from Kampala, i craft festival sets, wedding ceremonies, and showcase performances with no backing tracks. My signature "harmony" call-and-response reflects the African philosophy of ubuntu: I am because we are.
