DJ and Electronic Music Producer and remixer, born and raised in KweKwe, Zimbabwe. Creator of the pioneering AfroHouse Sound from Zimbabwe. His Music style is a delicious blend of Organic House, warm and intense with a vital and deep Tribal essence that fuses naturally with melodic and evolving sounds, percussion rhythms, and drums. A long-haul career based on his self-taught character and his constant defence of musical quality has turned him into one of the industry's most respected DJs. DJ Stavo is a well-known producer who has made many popular party songs in the genres of Amapiano and Afro House. He has collaborated with big artists from Africa. Some of his hit songs are "Mnandi" with Mandoza from South Africa, "Ingoma" with Shota from South Africa, "Teka Famba" with Fiesta Black, "Ngimtholile" with Trademark from South Africa, and "Mwedzi Muchena" with the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi from Zimbabwe.

Dj Stavo has released several popular songs, including "Simudza Ngoma" with Jah Prayzah from Zimbabwe, which has over 1 million views on YouTube. Another well-received track is "Sexy Darling" featuring Dj Maphorisa & Di Buckz from South Africa, also with over 1 million views on YouTube. In 2019, his song "Bad News" featuring Gemma received regular airplay in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Additionally, his song "The Journey" with Roki from Zimbabwe reached number 2 on the MTV Base Mzansi Charts and has nearly half a million views on YouTube.

DJ Stavo has received praise for his work from both his colleagues and audiences. He has won multiple awards, including Best Club Dj at The Midlands Music Awards (2014), Best Music Video at The Zimbabwe Music Awards (Zima) (2014), and Dị of The Year at the Zimbabwe Business Awards (2014). He also won the MMA Best House Music award in 2015, Best House Song at the 2020 Star FM Awards, and Best Dance Song and Best DJ awards at the 2020 Zimbabwe Music Awards.

DJ Stavo has entertained crowds in many countries like South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, and Botswana. He has also impressed audiences in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom and Greece.

DJ Stavo took a break and moved to the UK. He released a new Amapiano single called "Piano Move" in March 2022. The song was well-received and got featured on BBC Xtra.
