Bio
Loatile Mangadi, popularly known by his stage name Loatinover Pounds, is a rising hip-_hop artist, producer, and creative visionary from Mabopane, Pretoria. Known for his raw lyricism, unfiltered storytelling, and deeply personal style, Loatinover Pounds has quickly become a key voice in bringing the township culture into the spotlight.
From an early age, Loatile was drawn to music and design, experimenting with beat-making and graphics even while still at school. His breakout came with the release of his debut EP Hood Misunderstood, featuring standout tracks such as -'“Sosh Plata”-, -'“Beke le Beke”'-, and -'“Flower Seedz”'-, which helped him gain rapid attention on the South African rap circuit.
Loatinover Pounds is also the creative force behind the trademark phrase “punyete”, a word that has become central to his brand, it underpins his musical identity, clothing line, and even his event series Punyete Sontaga, which celebrates hip-hop and local arts in his community.
His high-energy performances, clever wordplay, and authenticity have earned him collaborations with major names and strong support across Pretoria’s streets. In 2022, he performed over 40 gigs nationwide, from major festivals to grassroots events, solidifying his reputation as a tireless performer.
