His impressive body of work includes composing music that has been enjoyed by millions of Somalis and writing a captivating films and playwright for an acclaimed theater project.

Fiil made history by being the first person to present Film at the National theater in 30 years, and first to submit a Somali film for the prestigious Oscar award.

In 2022, Fiili was lucky enough to be among the 10 Screenwriters selected to participate in the Qumra short program organized by the Doha Film Institute. in addition, he has been a presenter at Africa's biggest entertainment Award, The Aeausa Awards twice.
