Yumus TWh, born Yongama Mali on January 20, 1995, in Ngcobo, Eastern Cape, South Africa, is a rising rapper, songwriter, producer, and recording artist known for his raw lyricism and powerful storytelling. Influenced by the Spaza movement, Yumus began his music journey at 16 and soon became involved in Cape Town's hip-hop scene. Based in Nyanga, he rose to local prominence through performances and his debut mixtape, The Grind is On (2019). His music blends personal narratives with a passion for growth and creativity.
Yumus’ notable singles include "Betha Ncaa Kuwe" (2021), "S'nxile" (2022), and "Sneaky Link" (2023), with more to come, including his second mixtape. A graduate of Bridges for Music in music production, Yumus has sharpened his technical skills while maintaining his signature sound. With a strong work ethic and a belief in the hustle, Yumus TWh is well on his way to making a lasting impact on South Africa's music scene and abroad.
