Bio

Founded on 1 February 1877 in Brussels, Belgium, Musical Instruments Museum (Belgium) is a museum boasts of collection of African instruments. It has been part of the Royal Museums of Art and History since 1992. The State in Belgium recognised the scientific character of its activities and provided it with two sections namely the early music section and the section of modern music and popular and traditional music. The museum was previously attached to the Brussels Royal Music Conservatory. It is open to members of the public from Tuesday to Friday at 09h30am until 17h00pm. On Saturday, Sunday and on holidays, it is open from 10h00am until 17h00pm.
