Internet Athi

Internet Athi is an independent musician based in Cape Town, South Africa. His music is a soulful blend of South African jazz, RnB, and black improvised sounds— inspired by the rich rhythms and stories of my surroundings. Through his work as a songwriter, he explores his identity, weaving elements of his experiences into every note and lyric, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and contemporary, personal yet otherworldly. His music reflects his respect for the craft, and he sees himself as part of a larger musical conversation. His passion for live music performance has seen him share the stage with many of his musical heroes including the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Langa Mavuso, Jimmy Nevis, The Brother Moves On, Kujenga and so many fellow artists. Internet Athi is currently working on his debut project, with Wena as the lead single.
