Kodi
Bio
Kodi (Emery Patrice Ishimo Cyabahire) is a dynamic music producer and artist from Rwanda, dedicated to creating sounds that inspire change. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurial leadership at African Leadership University, I blend my passion for music with a commitment to social and environmental advocacy.
As a self-taught producer, I've mastered tools like FL Studio and Logic Pro, crafting vibrant tracks that resonate with listeners. My journey has taken me to Synergy Studio in Kabeza, where I collaborate with talented local artists, including Max Prodigy and Vivi Ndaya, to produce music that speaks to the heart of contemporary issues. I also lead the Afrobeat and Rap Club at ALU, nurturing emerging talent and fostering a community of student musicians.
My music is more than just sound; it's a medium for storytelling and a platform for raising awareness about climate change and social justice. Through my work, I aim to empower historically marginalized voices, proving that art can be a powerful catalyst for change.
With a focus on continuous growth and self-directed learning, I’m committed to refining my craft while inspiring others to use their creativity as a force for good. Join me on this journey as I explore the intersection of music, culture, and impact.
