Mcharuko Band

Mcharuko is a band of students from Dhow Countries Music Academy in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The band was founded in 2015 and is known for performing at regular concerts at the Forodhani Gardens and other open spaces around Zanzibar.

Mcharuko is led by Christopher Anthony who plays jazz flute, guitar, drums and vocal.
