Jarrod Cooper
Bio
Jarrod Cooper (born 25 August 1992) is a professional sound designer from Vanderbijlpark, South Africa.
He studied campus music with a focus on percussion and performance at the Campus of Performing Arts. Cooper received a scholarship at the Vancouver Film School in Canada where he studied sound design for visual media with focus on films, games and television. He later received an offer to become an assistant teacher at the Vancouver Film School.
Cooper worked as a sound designer on film projects that won awards and received nominations at the Cannes film festival, Montreal world film festival, Leo awards and the NFFTY festival.
He was a finalist in the annual 8DIO Stand Out Composer Contest. He currently works as a demo composer for 8DIO.
