Banele Bucks

Banele Nkosi is a South African jazz saxophonist. He started playing music at a very young age in church until he decided to go study music. In 2019 he was introduced to Saxophone by his college lecture Wanda Zonke till today Banele has been playing Saxophone.

He was inspired by Wanda Zonke, Mthunzi mvubu, Bra Khaya Mahlangu and Kenny Garrett. He is also a founder of a band called Isabelo, and his a member of many different bands including, umthimkhulu, change of season, urban big band, etc.

He has shared the stage with artists including Kor Mr Saxman (Taiwan), Alexander Beats, Khaya Mahlangu, Linda Sikhakhane, Spoek Mathambo, and has performed at The Standard Bank joy of jazz, Standard Bank arts youth, market theatre, Joburg theatre, Soweto theatre.
