Thabo Mabuya aka CRUSBEATZ Mmino is a South African artist/ music producer/audio engineer working under Visionars entertainment. Born in Katlehong, the east of Johannesburg.”K1”, Crusbeatz is an acronym signifying C-creative-R-resolute-U-unique-S-skills for Beatz. He got introduced to hip hop music when he was still at high school. CRUSBEATZ is a very multitalented musician using a combination of Sesotho, Zulu and English language writing his songs. He is very skilled in producing his own music, instrumentals and recordings, great music producer with good engineering skills. Hip hop is the driver of his passion for music, but he also likes exploring a lot with other music genres like (Dance, house and kwaito music). He is very flexible & versatile. He also provide background (sync) music for TV shows. He did some work for radio, including jingles. His first sync music project is titled for the love of sports vol.1. which was created back in 2013,and was featured on super sports and ignition tv. From the year 2023 his working on his double ep titled “Two sides of the same coin”. Which will cater for both dance and hip hop music. He released singles like “Sbonge” featuring Royal jade. “Mangwane”, Thousand miles away. On the hip hop side he released “Mphemphe ya lapisa” and “Hao mpona kele je remix”. Two sides of the same coin project is expected to be complete by 2025, so stay tuned.
Crusbeatz is one of the most exciting acts to come out of Ekurhuleni his sounds vary from a bit of lay back to an up-beat groove. He also uses the amapiano elements on some of his tracks in the “Two sides of the same coin” project.
For a producer that likes to explore other genres EDM music landed him a very vibey song which is titled “Kuku e nonneng” no crowd can resist this song. All of these fun and exciting staff can be found in this project “Two sides of the same coin”.
For 2025 Crusbeatz is putting together a collaboration project, “on to the next one” featuring various emerging artists.
