Bio

Blac Cousins is a music duo from Ghana comprising Ms Fu and Anae.

The group was born out of a desire to inspire and project their abilities, they are connected by the sisterhood of womanhood, the passion for hip-hop and the humanity of our world.

Anae is a British Ghanaian rapper and producer. Having started off rapping, she slowly turned to music production, drawing influence from producers such as J Dilla, Timbaland, Darkchild, among others. Having produced music for artists such as Tradey, Efya and Ko-Jo Cue, Anae is keen on advocating for more women in production and audio across Ghana.

Ms Fu is a Ghanaian born and based rapper. Although her influences vary, she cites Eminem and Missy Elliot as key among them. Creatively, she explored storytelling, poetry and dabbled in a bit of spoken word during her university years. It was during these same years she uncovered a flair for MCing.

Blac Cousins recently released their debut project Pillow Talk, a 5-song EP that unfolds over a soulful landscape.
