Big Sover

Big Sover is an artist from Polokwane, South Africa. He started doing kwaito music in 2006. In 2008, he started writing his own music. Recording his music became a challenge. In June 2009, he met a kasi rapper who asked a local pastor, Happy kekana, to allow them to use his music equipment for recording. He later met Kamogelo Kekana who proposed they make kwaito album. The album didn't do very well and he decided to start making hip-hop music. He later formed a group called Sovereigns and a sub group called Young Sovereigns.

In 2013, he met King JAY, who introduced him to a room studio where he recorded a track which earned him respect among local artists. He later opened his own room studio and learned how to make beats.
